Quantitative Sustainability

As the smart grid matures, the flow of resources such as water and electricity will be monitored at increasingly granular levels. The datasets generated, predominantly time-series datasets, will be vast and offer unprecedented opportunities for the optimisation of resource allocation. Hence ‘Quantitative Sustainability‘.

Quantitative Sustainability Time-series Analysis (QSTA) is an open-source framework for analysis of these datasets. In the first instance the focus is on home energy consumption, where data are most freely available.
